About Lisa

Lisa follows in the footsteps of three grandparents (Dr. Leonard Gold, Dr. Laura Morrow and Dr. Lloyd Morrow), who helped pioneer the field of Psychiatry.  She continues to be inspired by both parents who helped shape “Family medicine” as General practitioners.   She promotes a joyful and happy life through movement and its connection to the spiritual, emotional and physical bodies.  Her love of exercise comes across in her personal yoga asana practice and hikes with friends.  Lisa also has extensive background in teaching swimming, Tai Ji and Qigong.

Lisa has treated babies with colic and skin issues, toddlers with tummy aches and older children with cognitive and behavioral issues.  While she specializes in Digestive Health and Mental Wellness, Lisa’s practice also encompasses musculoskeletal issues.  Lisa began to study and practice Eastern Healing Arts in 1995.  She earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from The Swedish Institute of Health Sciences, is Licensed to practice by the States of Hawaii and New York and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM.  Lisa also has a BA in Latin American Literature from UC Berkeley.
